FAQ

How long does the process usually take?
Approximately 2-4 weeks.

Do I need to come into the office?
Everything can be done virtually except the signing ceremony.

Do I need to find my own notary?
No, we partner with trusted notaries.

How do I know if I need a trust or a will?
If you have an estate worth more than the probate threshold in your state, then a will will not keep your estate out of probate. Call us to discuss.

Why can't I just create a trust online?
You don't know what you don't know! Online tools are great - but they do not replace a human advisor. Costly mistakes can be made with DIY estate plans. We look to establish a long term relationship with your family so we can adapt your plan as things change. We are available to meet in person, and even better, we never charge to speak with an attorney!
